COVID-19 Postponement

After careful consideration, Simpatico has decided to postpone our production of ESTHER CHOI AND THE FISH THAT DROWNED until after the immediate dangers of COVID-19 have subsided and our entire community feels safe coming together in the theater. We are currently working on alternative dates and will make a safe decision once we have a better handle on the scope and timeframe of this international crisis.

I write all this with a very heavy heart. As difficult a decision as this has been, I truly believe it is the best decision to nurture this beautiful play, showcase our talented artists, and support our dedicated audience community, all while ensuring the health and safety of our audience and team.

At this time, if you have made a Pay What You Decide reservation for this production and have any questions or concerns, please email me directly at allison@simpaticotheatre.org. I will be in contact and respond to any needs you may have regarding this announcement.

Simpatico has made a commitment to paying all our contracted artists for this production. It is central to our mission to work towards social justice and serve our community. If you are financially able to help us achieve that goal, your support via donation will help us as we work towards strengthening our artistic community and honoring this commitment.

I thank you again for your continued support of the work we do and the art we make at Simpatico. None of us can get by in our current climate of unrest without coming together as a community.
