Mark Cofta of the Philadelphia City Paper, hailed Lanford Wilson's Angels Fall as "so well-crafted one can't help but step back and admire his work" and exclaimed "Wilson's artful dialogue [is] a pleasure to hear from this genuine, articulate cast."

The Philadelphia Inquirer's Toby Zinman called Angels Fall "a study of character and of issues" and said "the capable cast delivers an interesting two hours."
