Driving Directions

• From the South (Washington DC, DE, and Delaware & Chester Counties via I-95 North)

Travel I-95 North to EXIT 13, merging onto Penrose Avenue/PA-291 (toward I-76 West/Valley Forge). Turn left onto S. 26th Street/PA-291 East (toward I-76 West/Valley Forge). PA-291 East becomes I-76 West. Take EXIT 345 toward 30th Street. Turn right onto Chestnut Street. Turn right onto 15th Street. Turn right onto Sansom Street. The theater is between 16th & 17th Streets on Sansom Street.

• From the West (King of Prussia, City Line Avenue, Valley Forge Area, or Manayunk)

Take the Schuykill Expressway (I-76 East) toward Philadelphia. Merge left onto the Vine Street Expressway (I-676 East/US-30 East) via EXIT 344 toward Central Philadelphia. Take EXIT toward Broad Street/Central Philadelphia. Keep right to take the 15th Street Ramp (up) toward Central Philadelphia. Turn right onto 15th Street at the top of the ramp. Turn right onto Sansom Street. The theater is between 16th & 17th Streets on Sansom Street.

• From the North (Northeast Philadelphia, Bucks County and Northern New Jersey)

Take I-95 South to EXIT 22 (Central Philadelphia/I-676 West) onto the Vine Street Expressway (I-676 West/US-30 West) toward Central Philadelphia. Take the EXIT for Broad Street (PA-611) toward Central Philadelphia. Off-ramp exits onto 15th Street. Stay on 15th Street, headed south. Turn right onto Sansom Street. The theater is between 16th & 17th Streets on Sansom Street.

• From the East (New Jersey via the Ben Franklin Bridge)

Stay in the center lanes while coming off of the bridge. Head straight through two traffic lights to merge onto the Vine Street Expressway (I-676 West/US-30 West). Take the EXIT for Broad Street (PA-611) toward Central Philadelphia. Off-ramp exits onto 15th Street. Stay on 15th Street, headed south. Turn right onto Sansom Street. The theater is between 16th & 17th Streets on Sansom Street.

• From the East (New Jersey via the Walt Whitman Bridge)

Stay on I-76 West when coming off of the bridge. Take EXIT 345 toward 30th Street. Turn right onto Chestnut Street. Turn right onto 15th Street. Turn right onto Sansom Street. The theater is between 16th & 17th Streets on Sansom Street.

• From New York City

Take the NJ Turnpike South to Exit 4. Turn right off Turnpike to 73 North (Camden/Philadelphia), travel for a few miles. Take 38 West (Ben Franklin Bridge) for approx. 5 miles. Bear right at the 38/30 intersection, follow signs to Ben Franklin Bridge. Stay in the center lanes while coming off of the bridge. Head straight through two traffic lights to merge onto the Vine Street Expressway (I-676 West/US-30 West). Take the EXIT for Broad Street (PA-611) toward Central Philadelphia. Public Transportation

The Off-Broad Street Theater is easily accessible via SEPTA buses and subways, Amtrak trains, and New Jersey’s PATCO Speedline. Please refer to the SEPTA, Amtrak, and PATCO websites for specific fare and schedule information. The Off-Broad Street Theater is located on the corner of 17th and Sansom Streets.

 SEPTA

• Take Septa Regional Rail trains to Suburban Station (15th Street). Walk south on 15th Street for two blocks, make a right onto Sansom Street. The theater is between 16th & 17th Streets on Sansom Street.

• Bus stop at 16th & Walnut Streets. WESTbound Routes: #9, #12, #21, and #42
• Bus stop at 16th & Chestnut Streets. EASTbound Routes: #9, #21, #42

 PATCO Speedline

• Take the train to the 16th & Locust Street stop. Walk north two blocks to Sansom Street. The Off-Broad Street Theater is located on the corner of 17th and Sansom Streets.

 Amtrak

• Amtrak trains stop at 30th Street Station. Transfer to SEPTA’s Market/Frankfort Line (the Blue Line) East. It’s one stop to Suburban Station (15th Street). Walk south on 15th Street for two blocks, make a right onto Sansom Street. The theater is between 16th & 17th Streets on Sansom Street.
