Simpatico Theatre Project is a nonprofit theatre company that links each of its productions to a local nonprofit organization. This community connection helps us spread awareness of the issues dealt with in our productions, and promotes a direct dialogue with our audience in the hope of affecting more immediate and positive social change.

VOLUNTEERING

We are always looking for an extra pair of hands around the theatre, whether it’s to join in the applause, rip a few tickets, or to assist with one of the many opportunities that our nonprofit partnerships provide us.

Volunteer ushers play a large part in the audience’s overall enjoyment of a production. Under the guidance of our House Manager, ushers are responsible for greeting our patrons, taking tickets, distributing programs, seating, and attending to any audience member with special needs. We also host a variety of panel discussions and special events as part of our nonprofit partnerships and community outreach. Each usher receives a complimentary ticket to the performance they are assisting.
